You see his approach is to have individuals that specialize in their ethnic cuisine that have been passed down by generations and shared with families (family style). This Summer Chef Woo Can is introducing Summer Gourmet meals that are cooling to the senses , simple to prepare, light, tasty and delicious. There is more of an emphasis on herbs like mint, cilantro, ginger and light sauces. You'll experience flavors not found in the traditional take out restaurants with emphasis on heavy sauces and fried foods. Summer meals that are light originated from Southern China (Canton) and Southeast Asian (Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Malaysia). Your palate may be curious about the saltiness of fish sauce, brown sugar, mint leaves, Thai basil, cilantro, but combined all together creates a satisfying meal. Chef Woo Can doesn't believe in a large white plate with a tiny portion as a meal. Today, its just not practical. Why can't they give value?
