GETTING TIRED OF MAKING A CHINESE HOMECOOKED MEAL
I'm a New Yorker thru and thru, born and raised on Long Island, am a true Long Islander. Raised like a typical New York surburbanite sarcastic and to the point. You'll know exactly where I stand on the issues and if I don't like you I tell you upfront. Why waste time. Well, the reason I'm saying all this is despite the fact that I love to create a home cooked meal for my daughter, my wife makes her special meals, everyday I make a breakfast lunch and dinner and no dish is the same, so I change it up my menu everyday. You know how kids are finnicky on food. Well, with everything going on, Covid-19 Pandemic, November election, middle school going virtual, unemployment, state of the economy, I have to tell you its getting to me to the point I'm losing my passion to cook everyday. Right now my weight is great at 187, blood sugar i controlled, and now so tempted to take short cuts for my daughter, mac and cheese, frozen pizza and Chinese take-out and fast food drive in. I know they are all unhealthy and I know what they do, lots of fried food, with lots of sugar and salt and lots of carbs. A formula for gaining weight. So, I'm trying to resist temptation by taking short cuts and maybe its because of all the damn rain from the hurricanes. But like a strong person that I am I will survive.
