A comment

It's been quite a week of frigid temperatures and I'm sitting in the den with Rocky by my side. He's so happy seeing me come thru the door with his front paws on my knees and I'm bending  down to hug him close to me while his tail is wagging. Like with all of us, that hug gave him reassurance that I love him and I gently  tell him, "good boy Rocky" and that was enough for him that Daddy was home. Rocky my buddy and trusted companion, my friend. Sitting with him, I can't help but think that for all the years I've been feeding him, not so nutritious dog food. I count my blessings that nothing has happen to him. I bring him to his annual checkups and he's fine. His weight is fine but never did I mention the food to my vet and whether it was a good brand. Never thought of even asking. But his medication vaccination is coming up and when I do see the vet, I will ask him what is the best dog food I can give to Rocky. Rocky is the victim of corporate greed, the value of his life to them is not worth a dime but to me hes everything. We've been through alot together, suffered hot Summers and frozen Winters, He loves going out for a walk but sometimes I just got to tell him its soo hot or its soo cold. He understands
I only wish there was a Pet Dog Food manufacturer that can provide nutritious dog food at a reasonable cost.
I read alot about raw food and its pretty interesting.
My next blog will cover this topic but for now I just wanted to share my feelings about Rocky, my pal and buddy.
I' sure many of you reading this can share the same feelings with your doggie. The best part is when I retire, he's ready to go and lay besides me on his new Christmas blanket that's warm and cuddly. Lately, he's been snoring. A tough day for Rocky, eating, sleeping and walking around waiting for me to come home. 
His life is just as important as our life and I intend on getting the word out to educate people and teach them some facts about what is being manufactured to our doggies.
