Stir Fry Okra
You may have heard Okra used to make New Oleans Gumbo, or fried with cornmeal or used in Indian cuisine but did you ever have it stir fried Asian style?
2 tablespoon Lee Kum Kee Oyster Sauce (Panda brand)
2 tablespoon Shao Shing Wine
1 teaspoon Healthy Boy Brand Thin Soy Sauce
Dash of white pepper
2 tablespoon Olive oil
2 cloves of smashed garlic
1. Wash Okra and cut into even sections and set aside.
2. Heat non-stick pan, add olive oil and smashed garlic.
3. Do not let garlic burn.
4. Add sliced Okra and stir fry until you get an emerald g reen color. Add a dash of water, Oyster sauce, shao shing wine, thin soy sauce and a dash of white pepper.
5. Emerald green color is considered "Al Dente" not overcooked or under cooked.
6. Taste and adjust flavor.
