Want to Lose Weight Without Even Trying
The holidays are coming just around the corner. Feasting on Thanksgiving and throw in the Covid-19 Pandemic to boot and you'll have celebrations with your immediate family. Great! I'm stuck inside after a tough day at work and I see the same faces every single day. What's new can you say? Really nothing at all! And the holidays suppose to bring a smile, rushing here and there preparing for a Thanksgiving feast. But if your like me, I'm just not motivated this year. What can I do, hmmmm? Hey, Wawa to the rescue. During these times they bring out the turkey meal special with sliced turkey breast, stuffing, brown gravy, cranberry jelly and I think a piece of cornbread. No waste, and serves its purpose.
Oops, got off a tangent. "MODERATION" is the magic word. Too much of a good thing is ALWAYS BAD. Let's see when we were kids back before technology controls us, we were running around with friends, bicycling, playing tag we were burning calories up the gazoo. Yeah our diet wasn't the best but we ate what was available on the weekend treat of going to the nearest burger stand for burgers, fries and a coke. Fast food wasn't an everyday occurrence. Mom would cook a home cooked meal. It was a more sensible time.
Up until high school, our bodies were growing and we needed to fuel our bodies and activities helped burn the fat off and keep us healthy.
But then we graduated and welcome to the real world of working in Manhattan, commuting working 12 hour days if your lucky, travelling round the country, business socials with clients, drinking, eating and really not getting much activity. We were still active but started to show sedentary motions of relaxing with a brew or cold one at the local bar with your buddies, the stress, anxiety of big city life hits you and gradually are comfortable chilling out and accomllishing your tasks on the phone in the office.
We're getting older but our intake of food is still the same when we were younger. Beer gut starts showing, blood pressure is high with all that fattening food on the run, craving for sweets leads to more sweet drinks and soda. Too much excess living What we should have realized that once our bodies are showing signs of slowing down, then at that moment we needed to cut back substantially what we were following as kids, less fat, less salt and sugar but life is not always logical, we live with our heart and cravings. Then all that excess weight put pressure on our organs causing more internal stress and anxiety. Then, we need to go on a diet and we pick a diet closely resembles what we want. But logic says how can 1 diet book be made for everyone? Each one of us are made or created differently . Some bodies more delicate than others and are these diets tested? In hindsight, not exactly. So, if your a believer with these so called die physicians say, more power to you. If it works on you thats great but what about those individuals that tried it and died.
I ask myself, do I exceed the daily amount of salt and sugar each day. Hmmm, yes probably 3 times. My blood pressure is high, my blood sugar is such that now I'm a Type 2 diabetic.
We never knew the intake of food impacted our health so drastically, that I'm on medication forever.
Can't look back, that's a chapter gone. Moving forward try this:
-Check out your family's health history
-If your not active, eat fruits and fiber materials. The good out weighs the bad. Make yourself take walks, exercise a little whether it be stomach cruntches or running /walking on the treadmill or getting outside with your pet is ideal.
-Dinner is the meal to eat the lightest. This meal should include cooked vegetables and meats Avoid the "WHITE" white rice, white bread, white pasta especially at dinner and finish eating by 8pm. Eating after 6pm allows the food to just sit in your gut without the body in a resting state to allow the feed lack of nutients do a job on your body.
It will take you time to adjust but like everything else, it all works out for the better.''''''''''''''''''''''

Doing my research reveals a stunning revelation that practically ALL Asian vegetables are lectin free. Now regarding rice, and noodles there are lectin free substitutes that are tastier than rice.
The great thing to is that all seafood is lectin free also.

LECTIN FREE (A Better understanding of how your damaging your digestive tract)
A funny thing happen this morning. I was working on my website making revisions and adjustments to the many venues that I offer to you. Then suddenly my wife offered her two cents on this topic of "Lectin. She says its not a diet but a different way of what we are eating and the effects it has on our digestive tract.
It's not a diet but a different way of how we look at every day produce. vegetables, fruits and dairy. Once you understand the effect of certain foods, and start eating the right products, you will lose weight just by changing your choices.
Yes, there are thousand of advocates promoting the Lectin Free approach and there are thousands of Lectin Free Cookbooks but after my research, there isn't a Asian Lectin Free Cookbook. I guess I'll be the first.
